In mid-March I planted a typical store bought yellow potato (Jagaimo). The picture above was from 31 March. The potato had hour eyes so I cut in four parts with each part containing an eye. I planted each part about 6 inches deep with the eye facing up. I used standard potting soli, a little
cow manure (only 10% of the total volume of soil) and added liquid
fertilizer every two weeks.
