Last year I grew Bitter Melon (Goya or Nigauri) behind my house along the fence and it went wild. I cannot recall how many Goya it produced, but a typhoon destroyed it, along with two fruiting banana trees. I planted Goya in the back again this year, but the bugs are overwhelming, so I planted more in a planter on my balcony.
