These Lilyturfs are flowering and doing well, but not as beautiful as last year. I need to water them more.

Liriope (Lilyturfs)
My mother-in-law gave me this Lilyturf plant about two years ago. The leaves were dark green because it was in the shade, but now has the distinguishing white streaks and flowering. When I originally planted it it did not do well, so I cut all the leaves down to about 1 inch (2 cm). Last year it still did not grow, but this year during the rainy season it took off and now beautiful. I prefer this plant to a spider plant since it does not grow too fast and is not invasive like spider plants, plus the flowers are prettier. Lilyturf are from South-east Asia and not a Lily or a grass, but rather part of the Asparagus family. Due to their many qualities, Lilyturf are an excellent plant for landscaping.
