Moi (Red Cucumber) is originally from India and imported to China and now common in much of Asia. It tastes much like a regular cucumber, but perhaps better. When in season it is cheaper and lasts quite a long time considering it's size.
To eat Moi simply remove the skin and seeds and use in the same manner as you would a regular cucumber.
Of course, keep the seeds and enjoy growing your own plants.
I planted the seeds in mid-May and they started to sprout on 1 June. Moi are climbers, so I suspected cords from the roof for them to climb. By the first week of June they began to climb.
By mid-June they really started to climb.
