I planted Green Pepper seeds in several containers a few months ago and nothing grew and reseeded, but nothing seemed to sprout. However, recently I have found plants in all the containers. For those that may think this container is too small, I have found Green Pepper plants grow well in small containers. The plants do not get large and do not produce a lot of Peppers at once, but do produce regular sized Peppers for a long period of time. My first Pepper plant was in a small flower pot about 6 inches deep, but it lived almost two years and produced over 100 Peppers. The plant just needs regular watering and some fertilize a couple times a year, but they do quite well in small containers and perhaps preferable for a balcony garden.
