My boss gave me a Papaya fruit on Monday. It was from a sapling I gave him about a year ago. It weighed almost 1kg (2.2 lbs) and was a perfect yellow. This was an absolutely perfect fruit and would have sold for $10 easily in a store.
The fruit was flawless in color and texture.
It was extremely sweet and juicy. I froze half to make Papaya Ice Cream and the other half my wife and I ate fresh. My wife added homemade wiped cream I made and I sprinkled mine with a little cinnamon. Delicious!
