My neighbor gave me an Acerola Cherry Tree (Barbados Cherry) about a year ago. I have it out back and it is doing well. Acerola are hearty and quite drought resistant. It flowered in late April and not sure what happened to the cherries, but there were a lot of birds around, so have my suspicions. This fall I'll trim it back and put a net over it for next year.
