My Passion Fruit are starting to ripen, so I have tons. I had four fruit that looked bad, but after I opened them I found they were all good and the pulp was sweet; therefore, I made a Passion Fruit, yogurt and honey dessert. It was wonderful.
The three fruit on the left are hybrid yellow Passion Fruit and the fruit on the right are standard purple Passion Fruit. I was worried how the yellow Passion Fruit would taste like since I grew them from seed, but I was pleasantly surprised to find they were sweeter than the purple fruit.
Though Passion Fruit season is over, the recent heavy rains have caused my vines to flower again; unfortunately, the anthers have no pollen, which is so depressing.
