Guava (Red)

I picked the last Guava about a week ago and the tree is full of buds again, plus there are a few small fruit on the tree. This is a super productive tree.
It blossoms twice a year, but each blossoming season is long and extends into the next season, so it has fruit more than six months out of the year, if not more.
There are actually a few new fruit on the tree that will be ready to pick in about 10 days.

Dragon Fruit

I just got my second harvest of Dragon Fruit for the season. A few were quite large.

The fruit are beautiful inside, sweet and delicious. They are so easy to peel, so a delight to eat.

There are 10-15 flowers on the plant, so it looks like I will get a third harvest this year.
The day I picked the fruit.
Four days before I picked the fruit.
About a week before I picked the fruit.
The day after I pollinated the flowers, which was about 30 days before I picked the fruit.

Pakuchi (Cilantro)

I planted Pakuchi seeds a few times throughout the summer, but only a few sprouted; however, I guess it is Pakuchi season, because the seeds are starting to sprout.

Tomato

All the Tomato plants on my balcony are self seeded. All I do is add some fertilizer and nutrients a couple times a year and thin out the seedlings when they start to sprout. Unfortunately, I lost track what type of Tomato (Cherry or Beefsteak) is in what planter, but it's all good.
I had a problem with Spider mites about 10 days ago and was not sure these plants would make it, but I sprayed them every other day in the evenings for about a week and got ride of the mites. All the plants rebounded and look great and full of flowers. I spray in the evenings, so I do not want to kill the pollinators.

Edamame (Soybean)

I picked Edamame about 5-6 weeks ago and had a few dried bean pods on the plants, so I planted them. Edamame grow quickly and I expect more beans in 4-5 more weeks.

Bikkuri Jumbo Beans

These bean plants have been growing all summer and even developing flowers, but no beans; however, recently I'm noticing beans. These are giant beans, called Bikkuri Jumbo beans. Bikkuri roughly translated means to be Surprised.

Banana Tree

The Bananas on this tree are developing well, even though the tree fell down in a typhoon two months ago.

Two weeks ago.
Three weeks ago.
